ABOUT OPTICITY
From city lighting
to bright idea
to bright idea
Opticity and its tools were initially developed for our team to better manage energy efficient street lighting bulk changeovers for councils.
Beyond project management, we saw the opportunity for our council partners to harness these tools to deliver improved lighting levels, nuanced dimming and switching schedules, real time fault reporting, as well as reduced light pollution.

Outside of lighting tools, there is a bright future of smart community assets which can monitor vehicle
and pedestrian traffic, air quality, weather, fire and noise to name only a few.
Our tools will help councils receive, analyse, and manage data to make informed decisions and
ultimately provide realtime control over assets to cut costs, improve sustainability and make our communities a better and safer place to live.
